"Camp Rock 3": When It Arrives on Disney and What the New Movie Is About

The beloved Disney Channel musical franchise "Camp Rock" is making a comeback with "Camp Rock 3," set to premiere on Disney Channel on August 13 and become available on Disney+ the following day, August 14. This new installment promises to introduce a new generation of artists while also featuring the highly anticipated return of the band Connect 3.

The story picks up as Connect 3 faces a setback when the artist slated to open their reunion tour is lost. In response, Shane, Nate, and Jason Gray decide to return to the place where their journey began: Camp Rock. Their mission is to discover the next big talent who will join them on their concert tour. However, the competitive environment among the young campers is expected to lead to developing rivalries, unexpected friendships, budding romances, and challenging decisions for everyone involved.

Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas will reprise their iconic roles as Shane, Nate, and Jason Gray, respectively, continuing the characters they portrayed in the previous two films. Beyond their on-screen presence, the Jonas brothers are also serving as executive producers for the movie, alongside Demi Lovato, who is also contributing to the project behind the scenes.

The new cast includes Liamani Segura as Sage, Malachi Barton as Fletch, Lumi Pollack as Rosie, Sherry Cola as Lark, Hudson Stone as Desi, Casey Trotter as Cliff, Brooklynn Pitts as Callie, and Ava Jean as Madison. Maria Canals-Barrera will also return as Connie. The original "Camp Rock" films, released in 2008 and 2010, were among Disney Channel's most successful original productions, significantly boosting the careers of stars like Demi Lovato.
