Car Rolls Back and Gets Stuck on Retaining Wall After Driver Forgets Parking Brake

In an unusual incident in Corlu, Tekirdag province, Turkey, a parked car rolled backward down a street and became lodged, precariously suspended on a retaining wall of an apartment building. The driver had reportedly forgotten to engage the parking brake before leaving the vehicle.

The car, with license plate 16 RC 328, was parked by its owner, identified as S.K., on Bağlariçi 2'nci Sokak in the Muhittin Mahallesi neighborhood. Shortly after being parked, the vehicle began to move backward on its own.

It continued to roll until it collided with and became stuck on the retaining wall of a nearby apartment building. The bizarre scene unfolded without any injuries to individuals.

Local police were dispatched to the location following reports of the incident. A tow truck was later used to remove the vehicle from its precarious position on the wall.

The entire sequence of events, from the car rolling backward to its final resting place on the wall, was captured by the security camera of a nearby business, documenting the peculiar accident.
