Caracas firefighters rescue three from house fire in Antímano

Firefighters in Caracas successfully rescued three individuals who were trapped inside a residence following a fire in the Antímano parish. The incident occurred in the Las Colmenas sector, where flames engulfed a portion of a four-level building.

According to Pablo Antonio Palacios Salazar, the commander general of the Caracas Fire Department, the fire had reached its free-burning phase on the fourth level of the structure, damaging an area of about 30 square meters. Upon arrival, emergency crews immediately worked to extinguish the flames while another team conducted search and rescue operations.

Using urban rescue techniques, firefighters safely evacuated the three citizens who were confined to the upper floors due to the fire's spread. Paramedics provided on-site basic life support. Two of the rescued individuals were diagnosed with severe smoke inhalation and were subsequently transported to the Miguel Pérez Carreño Hospital for further treatment.
