Cargo spills onto Craiova's Northern Ring Road, restricting traffic

Traffic on the Northern Ring Road of Craiova is moving slowly and with difficulty on Tuesday afternoon following an incident involving a cargo truck. A portion of the truck's load broke through the trailer's tarpaulin, partially obstructing the road and causing significant delays.

According to the Regional Directorate of Roads and Bridges (DRDP) Craiova, police are directing traffic, and vehicles are currently proceeding on a single lane in alternating directions. The truck was reportedly transporting raw iron, and the shifting cargo created the obstruction.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the incident. However, the disruption has impacted commuters and transport in the area. Police units are on-site to manage the situation until the roadway can be cleared. A tow truck is expected to arrive to remove the affected truck and allow for the resumption of normal traffic conditions.
