Carla Calabrese Celebrates 20 Years of The Stage Company with Gala

Carla Calabrese marked two decades of her influential Argentine musical theater company, The Stage Company, with a lavish celebration at the Alvear Palace Hotel. Surrounded by family, friends, and notable figures from the arts, Calabrese honored the company's journey, which has produced acclaimed shows like "Shrek," "A Midsummer Night's Dream," and "Come From Away."

The evening transformed the hotel's ballrooms into an immersive experience, evoking the company's most iconic productions through visual displays and projections. Guests entered through a golden installation symbolizing the anniversary, setting the stage for a night dedicated to creativity and passion. The ambiance was further enhanced by a gastronomic offering that included oysters, prawns, salmon, and elaborate main courses, alongside themed cocktails inspired by past shows.

A highlight of the night was a surprise holographic cake presentation, which projected scenes from The Stage Company's extensive repertoire, much to the delight of the more than 200 attendees. Calabrese, radiant in an Etro gown, personally welcomed guests, sharing the stage with her husband, businessman Enrique Piñeyro, and their son, Theo, who is also involved in the family company. The celebration not only commemorated past successes but also looked forward to the company's upcoming theatrical endeavor.
