Celebrity Xiao Tiantian Settles Traffic Accident Case for NT$120,000

Taiwanese entertainer Chang Ke-yun, known by her stage name "Xiao Tiantian," has settled a traffic accident case out of court. The incident involved a collision between her vehicle and a motorcycle, resulting in the motorcyclist sustaining injuries.

According to reports, the accident took place last May in Taipei's Nangang District. Xiao Tiantian was driving her cement-gray MINI Cooper and making a left turn at an intersection when she collided with a motorcyclist proceeding straight. The impact caused the motorcyclist to be injured, leading to legal proceedings against the celebrity.

Following the legal process, Xiao Tiantian has agreed to pay NT$120,000 (approximately $3,700 USD) to the injured motorcyclist as part of the settlement. After the court hearing, she briefly addressed the media, stating only eight characters, which conveyed a sense of resolution. The case's conclusion brings a close to the legal dispute stemming from the accident.
