Celtic manager O’Neill recovering well after hospital procedure

Celtic manager Martin O’Neill has shared positive news regarding his health, stating he is feeling "much better" following a recent hospital procedure. The 74-year-old manager spent a night in the hospital and was consequently absent from the touchline for Celtic's recent 5-1 victory over Kilmarnock.

Despite his absence from the match, O’Neill maintained a connection with his squad, delivering a pre-match team talk at the players’ hotel. Reflecting on his recovery, he told Celtic’s official website, “Much better than last week anyway. In team news, Celtic has secured their third signing of the season with the arrival of Egyptian winger Haissem Hassan from Spanish side Real Oviedo. O’Neill expressed his satisfaction with the acquisition, noting that the club had been tracking players in similar positions since January. "We have been chasing him, several players, in that sort of position that we feel as if they will add something to us. And he very, very much fitted the bill,” O’Neill stated. He believes Hassan’s ability to beat players, a skill he calls a "dying art," will excite fans and add a new dimension to Celtic's attack.
