Central Asia's largest Ferris wheel installed in Bishkek

Bishkek has unveiled its newest attraction: the largest Ferris wheel in Central Asia. Standing over 92 meters tall, the "Bishkek Star" is the centerpiece of the newly renovated Asman Park, offering visitors panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains.

The installation was presented during an inspection of the park's ongoing reconstruction by Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev. The municipality's press service detailed that the project involves a comprehensive renovation, including extensive landscaping, the creation of modern recreation zones, and improved pedestrian infrastructure. A key priority has been the preservation and expansion of green spaces, with over 500 young trees and ornamental plants already planted, and another 500 planned.

Work on the park is more than 90 percent complete, with ongoing efforts in groundwork, lawn seeding, paving, and landscaping. Asman Park is designed as a family entertainment venue featuring modern recreation areas, walking paths, entertainment spots, and futuristic design elements. The mayor emphasized the importance of completing all construction to a high standard to ensure a comfortable public space for both residents and visitors.
