Çeşme City Institute Celebrates Year-End with Exhibitions, Concerts, and Theater

The Çeşme Municipality City Institute is buzzing with year-end activities, featuring a vibrant schedule of exhibitions, concerts, and theater performances from June 8 to June 14. Mayor Lâl Denizli attended a year-end theater performance by the institute's students and visited an exhibition showcasing the participants' work. This year, the institute provided education in 22 different branches, engaging approximately 1100 students. The institute's mission is to connect neighbors of all ages with art, production, and lifelong learning. Mayor Denizli emphasized the institute's significant contribution to Çeşme's social and cultural life. "We saw the year-end performances of our City Institute's theater students and visited the exhibition reflecting the efforts of our institute's participants. There was great effort, excitement for learning, and a spirit of sharing in every scene, every artwork, and every production," Denizli stated. She added, "We were proud to see once again how many of our neighbors our City Institute has reached and what valuable gains it offers." Denizli highlighted that the institute is designed as a space for citizens of all ages to acquire new skills, express themselves, and socialize. "Our City Institute, which we brought to life with the understanding of lifelong learning, provided training to 1100 of our neighbors this year. Strengthening the connection our children, youth, and adults establish with art, culture, and production is very valuable to us. I sincerely thank all our instructors and participants who contributed, and I congratulate them wholeheartedly," she said. The year-end events will continue with colorful performances at the Alaçatı Amphitheater on Saturday, June 14, including ballet, rhythm, modern dance, and folk dance shows. A procession will precede the evening's performances, starting from Alaçatı Mosque at 6:30 PM, accompanied by the Çeşme Municipality Band and Carnival Team. The Çeşme Municipality invites all citizens to join the festivities.
