CFX plants coral in Nusa Lembongan to restore marine ecosystem

The CFX Crypto Exchange ecosystem has undertaken a coral planting initiative in Nusa Lembongan, Bali, as part of its efforts to support marine ecosystem restoration. The event, titled "Building Lasting Reef Systems," was organized by PT Central Finansial X (CFX), PT Kustodian Koin Indonesia (ICC), and PT Indokripto Koin Semesta (COIN), along with PT Kliring Komoditi Indonesia (KKI).

This coral planting activity, held on August 19, 2026, also commemorated three years of collaboration among CFX, ICC, and KKI in developing Indonesia's crypto asset ecosystem. The initiative is framed as a corporate social and environmental responsibility (CSER) program.

Lukas Lauw, Director of CFX, emphasized the importance of sustainability in both the crypto industry and the environment. "We are committed to always maintaining the crypto asset ecosystem in Indonesia," Lauw stated. "Today, through the coral planting we are doing, we are also helping to preserve Indonesia's marine ecosystem. Both are ecosystems that need care to remain sustainable."

The "Building Lasting Reef Systems" theme was chosen to reflect the commitment to ensuring the longevity and health of marine ecosystems for future generations. CFX hopes this collaborative effort will encourage broader participation in environmental conservation activities.
