Lawyer Kuo Po-hung, who represented YouTuber Chang Chia-ning in a legal dispute, has become a focal point of public attention due to his remarkable academic and professional achievements.

Kuo graduated from the prestigious National Taiwan University's law department. During his postgraduate studies in public law at NTU, he pursued further education in Germany, earning a Master of Laws from the University of Munich. He has worked at a major domestic law firm and, in 2020, was appointed as a confidential secretary to the President of the Judicial Yuan. In this role, he was involved in judicial policy, legislative amendments, and constitutional court practices.

Adding to his diverse expertise, Kuo also qualified as a pilot during his student years. He was also admitted to the Master's program in music at National Taiwan Normal University, where he majored in orchestral conducting. He previously stated that while he initially treated the Chang Chia-ning case as a standard retainer, the subsequent public discussion exceeded his expectations.
