Changhua City Invites Singles to Puzzle-Solving Matchmaking Event

Changhua City is inviting singles to participate in a unique matchmaking event designed to foster emotional connections through interactive experiences. The "30,000 Solve the Mystery, Happiness is Invincible ~ The Orient Rises Again" event is scheduled for September 5th and is open for registration until August 11th. The city aims to recruit 80 unmarried individuals between the ages of 20 and 40.

This year's event moves beyond traditional speed dating, incorporating elements of real-life puzzle-solving, outdoor exploration, and team collaboration. A professional team has designed interactive challenges to help participants build rapport and teamwork. The chosen venue is the Oriental Park along the Xiangshan hiking trail, known for its expansive lawns, offering a scenic and relaxed atmosphere for participants.

Adding an element of excitement and competition, the event features a 30,000 New Taiwan dollar prize for the puzzle-solving challenge. Participants will also enjoy a buffet feast in a vegetarian dining area, intended to facilitate deeper conversations in a comfortable setting. Beyond the puzzle prize, successfully matched couples will receive commemorative gifts.

Changhua City Mayor Lin Shih-hsien highlighted the program's success, noting that the city's matchmaking events over the past six years have successfully led to 10 couples getting married. He emphasized that by designing activities that meet the needs of younger generations, the city can increase participation and opportunities for forming relationships. Last year's participants, Liang Min-sheng and Hsiao Yi-ju, who married in July, attended the press conference to share their love story, serving as a testament to the event's effectiveness.
