Changhua County to Host 'Supercar Wedding' for 50 Couples, Offering Luxury Escort and Gifts

Changhua County is offering a unique opportunity for 50 couples to tie the knot in a lavish "Supercar Wedding" group ceremony. The event, themed "Encounter Changhua, Happy Journey," promises an unforgettable experience, highlighted by a procession of 25 luxury sports cars, including Maseratis and Ferraris, to escort the newlyweds.

The registration opens tomorrow, August 14, at 10 a.m., and given the limited spots and high demand in previous years, couples are urged to sign up quickly. County Magistrate Wang Mei-hui, acting as a "matchmaker" at a press conference, detailed the benefits for participants.

Beyond the supercar escort, registered couples will receive a specially designed adjustable wedding ring, a 5,000 NT dollar appliance voucher, and a golden shovel symbolizing fertility and happiness. A lucky draw will also offer prizes such as diamond rings and round-trip tickets to Osaka, Japan.

To encourage young families, the Changhua County government is also promoting supportive policies, including birth subsidies for first, second, and third children, and expanding affordable childcare services.
