Chaumet's 'Les Bleus' collection dazzles with ocean, sky, and garden-inspired blue jewels

French luxury jewelry house Chaumet unveils its latest high-jewelry collection, "Les Bleus de Chaumet," a dazzling tribute to the color blue.

Inspired by the depths of the ocean, the vastness of the sky, and the beauty of natural gardens, the collection showcases a spectrum of blue gemstones. Rare stones such as sapphires, Paraiba tourmalines, tanzanites, and blue spinels are meticulously crafted into pieces that evoke a sense of fluidity, depth, and regal elegance.

The "Ocean Blue" theme opens with the Gulfstream ring, its swirling lines capturing the motion of waves, centered by an 8.72-carat oval sapphire. The Encres brooch features a nautical scene rendered in grand feu enamel by renowned Swiss artist Anita Porchet, complete with mother-of-pearl sails and soaring seagulls. The Sous le Soleil watch, with its sapphire dial, evokes sunny beach days and cocktails.

"Sky Blue" highlights Chaumet's signature tiara craftsmanship. The Firmament de Minuit tiara, inspired by 19th-century designs, features a star motif surrounded by brilliant-cut diamonds, exuding both authority and fantasy. The Passages necklace uses delicate diamond lines and pastel Paraiba tourmalines to create a soft gradient reminiscent of a galaxy, while the Soleil de Minuit earrings combine blue spinels and other gems to capture the magic of starlight.

"Earth Blue" returns to nature with garden-inspired designs. The Joséphine Aigrette Impériale necklace and ring continue the brand's iconic V-shape and pear-shaped stone motif, using sapphires and diamonds to echo Empress Joséphine's love for nature. The Esquisse de Chaumet pieces sketch floral petals with sapphires, onyx, tanzanite, mother-of-pearl, and diamonds, centered by a 6.05-carat oval sapphire. The Abeille creations transform bees, a royal symbol, into delicate blue jewelry, adding a touch of vibrant life.
