Chaumet Unveils 'French Garden' Boutique in Taipei, Crown Salon Steals the Show

Taipei's Xinyi District, already a hub for luxury retail, welcomes a new jewel: the Chaumet boutique at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A9. This is not just another store opening; it's a carefully curated experience designed to transport visitors into a "French garden in the city." Chaumet, with its nearly 250-year heritage, has once again demonstrated its deep connection to nature, a theme woven into the very fabric of this new space, from its facade to its interior flow.

The store's design eschews traditional boutique rigidity for a more organic, flowing aesthetic. Large glass windows replace a solid facade, inviting natural light and creating a sense of openness. Inside, a central display case with asymmetrical lines mimics natural rhythms, while overhead lighting resembles flowing tracks of light, drawing the eye. The left wall features golden wheat ear carvings and soft, undulating walls bathed in warm light, evoking a sun-drenched wheat field. The right side is dedicated to bridal jewelry, adorned in pearl white and gold, with bas-reliefs of campanula crowns symbolizing the brand's history and love.

The heart of the boutique is undoubtedly the crown salon, a space enveloped in royal blue. Here, meticulously displayed crown models recreate the historic ambiance of Chaumet's Place Vendôme flagship in Paris, offering an immersive experience that encourages visitors to slow down and appreciate the artistry. This space, along with the bridal area and the wheat-ear motifs, reinforces Chaumet's core identity as a "naturalist jeweler," celebrating the beauty of flora, fauna, and the earth's bounty through its exquisite creations.

Showcased within this elegant setting are Chaumet's signature collections. The Joséphine series, inspired by the campanula crown, features pear-shaped rubies and diamonds forming delicate floral outlines.
