Chayanne, Gilberto Santa Rosa, and Latin music stars join benefit concert for Venezuela in Miami

Puerto Rican music icons Chayanne and Gilberto Santa Rosa, alongside prominent Venezuelan artists including Corina Smith and the duo Chino y Nacho, have officially joined the lineup for a major benefit concert in Miami. The event, scheduled for August 16, aims to support victims and those affected by a devastating double earthquake.

The "Unidos por Venezuela" coalition announced this second wave of confirmations, significantly expanding the musical offerings. The Venezuelan representation will also feature Micro TDH, Noreh, Jerry Di, Jonathan Moly, Joaquina, Nella, and Jorge Luis Chacín. The roster also includes US-based artists of Hispanic roots like Isadora and Manu Manzo, creating a diverse lineup spanning salsa, pop, and urban genres.

These artists will join a previously announced group of international stars, including Marc Anthony, Ricardo Montaner, Feid, Olga Tañón, Silvestre Dangond, Jay Wheeler, Elena Rose, Gente de Zona, Mau y Ricky, Lasso, San Luis, Piso 21, Alleh, Zhamira Zambrano, and presenter Enrique Santos. The concert will take place at the Kaseya Center in Miami, starting at 6:00 PM local time.

To ensure global reach, the event will be simultaneously broadcast. Viewers can make real-time donations by scanning QR codes and accessing various digital platforms. The broadcast will also feature reports and images of rescue efforts, aid organization deployments, and direct testimonies from survivors. The goal is to raise international awareness of the disaster's magnitude, caused by 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude earthquakes that primarily struck the north of the country, claiming thousands of lives and causing extensive infrastructure damage.

"Unidos por Venezuela" stated that all collected funds will be transparently managed by recognized international humanitarian organizations, not directly by the producers. These entities will allocate resources to address priority needs as recovery and reconstruction efforts progress in the impacted zones.
