Chery Q Named Favorite Hatchback at GIIAS 2026

The Chery Q electric vehicle has been honored as the Favorite Vehicle in the Passenger Car–Hatchback category at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. The award was announced during the GIIAS 2026 Exhibitor Night, held recently.

Chery Q, one of the new models introduced by Chery in Indonesia at GIIAS 2026, officially launched on July 31, 2026. It is available in two variants: Chery Q Pure and Chery Q Rizz. Visitors at the auto show had the opportunity to view the vehicle and participate in test drives.

Budi Darmawan Jantania, Vice Country Director of Chery Business Unit, stated that the award serves as an indicator of visitor response to the newly launched model. "The selection of Chery Q as the Favorite Hatchback shows that this model has received a positive response from GIIAS 2026 visitors," Budi said.

The Chery Q boasts a driving range of up to 400 kilometers on a single charge, based on the NEDC method. It supports fast charging, capable of reaching 80% capacity from 30% in approximately 16.5 minutes. Interior features include a 15.6-inch infotainment screen, a 70-liter power frunk, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology with a 6.6 kW output. For safety, it is equipped with up to 20 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features, a high-resolution 540-degree camera, and an Autonomous Parking Assist system.
