Prices for chicken and eggs in Luxor, Egypt, have remained stable as of Saturday, August 8, 2026. Consumers can find consistent pricing for various types of poultry and eggs in local markets and shops.

The report details the current market rates for different chicken varieties, including white chicken priced between 77 and 83 Egyptian Pounds (EGP) per kilogram, local breed chicken at 122 EGP, and Sasso chicken at 111 EGP. Other poultry items like pigeons and ducks also have listed prices.

For eggs, a carton of white eggs is selling for 100 to 108 EGP, while red eggs are priced similarly. Local breed eggs are slightly higher at 120 EGP per carton.
