The tremor left a devastating toll, with at least 111 people confirmed dead, 87 injured, and 1,575 homes damaged. Chile's Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended its "deepest condolences to the families of the victims" and wished "a speedy recovery for the injured." The ministry also stated it is monitoring the situation of Chilean nationals in Colombia. "Chile expresses its willingness to collaborate with Colombian authorities, should they deem it necessary, to contribute to the response efforts in the face of this emergency," the statement added.
