Chilean Rodeo Federation Announces 2027 Championship Dates

The Chilean Rodeo Federation (Ferochi) has officially launched its 2026-2027 sports season, announcing the dates for the prestigious 2027 Champion of Chile rodeo event. The season kicks off with the first five rodeos set to take place on the weekend of August 22.

During the launch event, Ferochi President Alfredo Moreno Echeverría, alongside Vice President Claudio Aravena Flores and Director Faruk Touma Aguad, reviewed the past season's management and outlined projections for the new cycle. Moreno emphasized the "enthusiasm and hope" shared by all participants for the upcoming season.

Key dates and venues for the qualifying rounds and the main championship were revealed. The "Clasificatorio Zona Sur" (Southern Zone Qualifier) is scheduled from March 3 to March 7, 2027, and will be organized by the Association R. Further details on other qualifiers and the championship venue are expected.

The announcement signals the continuation of Chile's traditional rodeo sport, with Ferochi aiming to build on the successes of previous seasons and foster continued participation and interest in the national championship.
