Chimalhuacán invites residents to watch Mexico vs. England match at two venues with sports and music

The municipality of Chimalhuacán is preparing to host fans for the Mexico vs. England soccer match on July 5, part of the "Estadio de México. Destino Futbolero" strategy. Two public venues have been designated to offer families a festive atmosphere with cultural, sports, and musical activities.

Mayor Xóchitl Flores Jiménez announced that Plaza Ignacio Zaragoza, located in front of the municipal palace, will be the primary venue. Festivities begin at 4 p.m. with a performance by Los Incorregibles de la Banda, preceding the match kickoff at 6 p.m. Following the game, Simba Musical is scheduled to perform.

The second venue, Plaza Cívica Benito Juárez in the Vidrieros neighborhood, will also offer a full schedule. It will feature Banda La Gran Mixteca, along with cultural and sports programming before the match. Estrellas Andinas will conclude the evening's entertainment after the game.

This scheme is part of the participation of the 125 municipalities of the State of Mexico in the state strategy, which seeks to showcase the cultural, tourist, and economic offerings of the entity during the world cup.

Local authorities are reinforcing security measures throughout the municipality and along the Valle del Anáhuac Tourist Corridor to prevent any incidents. Mayor Flores Jiménez urged residents to participate in an environment of healthy coexistence.

This initiative is part of a broader state strategy involving all 125 municipalities in the State of Mexico. The goal is to showcase the region's cultural, tourist, and economic offerings during the global soccer tournament.
