China calls for AI cooperation as its tech rivals US with open-source model

Adding weight to China's push for AI prominence, the company Moonshot AI unveiled its new artificial intelligence model, Kimi K3. This AI demonstrates capabilities competitive with those of leading US companies like OpenAI and Anthropic. Crucially, Kimi K3 is being made freely available, a move that underscores China's commitment to open access and widespread adoption of its AI technologies.
