Chinese translator missing: Last phone signals detected in Greece after Albania trip

Authorities are intensifying their search for Yu Ting, a Chinese translator who has been missing since May 20. Recent investigations have revealed her involvement in real estate ventures in both Greece and Albania, where she had obtained residency permits related to water source interests in Bogove.

The first trip was with a Chinese investor and her mother-in-law, while the second involved accompanying Chinese individuals interested in properties in both Greece and Albania.

Yu Ting's mother-in-law had previously stated that their communication was limited to brief greetings, as Yu Ting was often busy. The translator's husband, who was on a business trip in China since April 21, maintained daily contact with her via WeChat until May 20, the day she disappeared. Her phone's signal ceased transmitting that afternoon. The family discovered her absence on June 10 when her brother-in-law entered their home in Artemida, leading to the official report of her disappearance.
