Chong Kun Dang Holdings Launches Blood Drive to Aid Children with Cancer

Chong Kun Dang Holdings employees have participated in a blood donation drive, contributing to the nation's blood supply and supporting children battling cancer. The "2026 Love Sharing Blood Donation Campaign" took place from June 22 to June 30 across six of the company's facilities nationwide.

The initiative aimed to bolster blood reserves during the summer months, a period often marked by shortages, and to foster a culture of donating life. The campaign was conducted in a relay format, starting at Chong Kun Dang's Cheonan plant and continuing to other sites including the Hyojong Research Institute, Chong Kun Dang Bio's Ansan plant, Kyeongbo Pharmaceutical's Asan headquarters, Chong Kun Dang Health's Dangjin plant, and finally Chong Kun Dang headquarters.

Following the campaign, Chong Kun Dang Holdings will donate the blood donation certificates collected from its employees to the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation. These donations will directly support the treatment of children suffering from cancer. Additionally, for every employee who donated blood, the company will create a matching fund of 10,000 won. This fund will be allocated to replace outdated equipment at local pediatric cancer centers, further enhancing their care capabilities.

This annual blood donation campaign has been a consistent effort by Chong Kun Dang Holdings since 2010. To date, 2,593 employees have participated, and 2,194 blood donation certificates have been donated to organizations like the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to social contribution.
