Chung-Ang University Seeks AI Creator Talent for Second Bootcamp Cohort

Chung-Ang University's Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, in partnership with Soylab X, is recruiting participants for the second cohort of 'Next K-Core: AI Creator THE CLASS.' This AI content creator bootcamp is part of a larger government initiative supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA).

The national project aims to cultivate 900 AI-native content creators, with the Chung-Ang University and Soylab X consortium being one of nine selected institutions. The first cohort saw a competitive application rate of 12.7:1, with 60 participants currently undergoing a 12-week intensive program focused on portfolio development under close mentorship.

The second cohort is divided into two tracks to cater to different participant needs. Track A (weekday) is designed for 30 aspiring creators, including students and job seekers, focusing on completing commercial portfolios for advertising, film, drama, and animation. Track B (weekend) targets 30 professionals and freelancers working in content, advertising, video, or gaming industries, emphasizing practical skills for immediate application in industry workflows.

Both tracks are open to all ages, educational backgrounds, and majors, with all educational expenses, including materials and facility usage, covered. Participants will receive benefits such as up to 200,000 won per month in AI tool subscription support, additional online lectures, expert feedback channels, access to Chung-Ang University's advanced facilities, and an official certificate.

Upon completion, participants can access career development opportunities through the 'AI Content Career Link' corporate matching program and the 'AI Content Biz-Networking Day.' Kim Tak-hoon, the project leader from Chung-Ang University's Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, noted the strong industry demand for AI-native creators, as evidenced by the first cohort's success, and aims to further enhance the quality of output in the second cohort.

The strong interest confirmed in the first recruitment clearly shows the industry's demand for AI-native creators who can be immediately deployed in commercial productions. Based on the know-how accumulated from operating the first cohort, we will further elevate the quality of the results in the second cohort.
