Citizens rescue 4 dogs trapped in a pond

A group of citizens successfully rescued four dogs trapped in a pond in the Ergene district of Tekirdağ. The dogs became stranded in the water, which was created on the grounds of a company in the Velimeşe Organized Industrial Zone, due to the plastic sheeting laid at the bottom and sides to retain water. They were unable to escape the muddy water.

Alerted to the situation, local citizens rushed to help. Workers from nearby facilities also joined the effort. Using ropes, the group managed to rescue the four dogs after a prolonged and challenging operation. The entire rescue process was captured on mobile phones and shared widely on social media platforms, quickly reaching thousands of viewers.

The shared videos depicted the dogs helplessly waiting for rescue in the dirty water. The footage also highlighted the significant dedication of the citizens involved in extracting the animals from their predicament. Following their rescue, the dogs were released back into their natural habitat.
