City Bus Gets Stuck in Underpass After Following Navigation System

An unusual traffic incident occurred when two city buses became stuck in the Seobu Arterial Underpass, a route explicitly prohibiting large vehicles. The bizarre scene unfolded on August 3rd around 10 a.m. on the Seoul-bound entrance to the underpass, causing a traffic jam.

One of the buses became lodged in the underpass entrance, its roof hitting the structure. A warning sign indicating a 3-meter height limit was visible before the entrance, yet the bus apparently passed it before becoming wedged. The situation was made more perplexing by the fact that a second city bus was following closely behind the first.

It was later determined that the drivers of both buses were en route to their depots without passengers. The lead driver had reportedly set their navigation system based on car settings, causing them to take a wrong turn. The second bus then followed the first into the restricted underpass. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident, and the situation was eventually resolved.
