Clear Early-Autumn Weather Expected Across South Korea on Sept. 6

South Korea is expected to see clear and cool weather across most regions on Sept. 6, making it a favorable day for outings. Morning lows will range from 15 to 23 degrees Celsius, while afternoon highs will reach 25 to 31 degrees.

Some central areas will have particularly cool mornings, with temperatures of 19 degrees in Seoul, 16 in Chuncheon, 18 in Daejeon and 17 in Sejong. Most of the country will remain below 30 degrees during the day.

Mountainous areas of Gangwon province and the northern east coast of North Gyeongsang province could remain cloudy, with light rain in some locations. Rain is expected in southern areas including Busan and Ulsan from late afternoon.

Rainfall of 5 to 10 millimeters is forecast for parts of the Gangwon and Gyeongsang coasts and inland eastern Gyeongsang. Jeju’s mountains and mid-mountain areas could receive 20 to 60 millimeters, while Jeju’s coastal areas could get 5 to 20 millimeters.

Waves could reach 1 to 4 meters in the coastal waters off the east coast and up to 4 meters in some southern waters. Offshore waves are forecast at up to 4 meters in the east, 3 meters in the west and 4.5 meters in the south.
