Clemens hits walk-off grand slam as Twins snatch stunning victory from Royals

Kody Clemens delivered a stunning walk-off grand slam with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, propelling the Minnesota Twins to an improbable 4-3 victory over the Kansas City Royals. The dramatic home run secured the series win for the Twins, marking their fourth triumph in the last five contests.

The Royals had held a 3-0 lead heading into the final inning, thanks to a two-run homer by Jac Caglianone in the third and an RBI double by John Rave in the fifth. Royals starter Noah Cameron had stifled the Twins' offense through eight scoreless innings, allowing only one hit.

In the bottom of the ninth, Royals closer Lucas Erceg entered the game with a three-run lead. After recording two quick outs, he hit Ryan Jeffers with a pitch. Royce Lewis followed with a single, and Josh Bell drew a walk, loading the bases. The Royals then brought in Matt Strahm to face Clemens.

Strahm started Clemens with two consecutive sinkers, getting ahead in the count. However, on an 82.7 mph slider, Clemens connected, launching a towering blast to right-center field for the game-winning grand slam. The improbable comeback stunned the Royals and ignited the home crowd.
