Two-time NBA Slam Dunk champion Zach LaVine arrived in Taiwan early on July 31, 2026, greeted by enthusiastic fans at the airport. The Chicago Bulls star is in the country for a week-long series of events designed to bring international basketball excitement to Taiwan.

LaVine is a featured guest at the "2026 Taoyuan Pearl Coast International Music Festival," hosted by the Taoyuan City Government. A major highlight of his visit will be his participation in the "2026 International Professional Basketball Star Exchange Game," specifically the slam dunk contest, where he will not only compete but also serve as a judge. This event aims to showcase emerging Taiwanese dunking talent.

Beyond the high-flying dunks, LaVine is scheduled for a series of other engagements. On August 1, following the dunk contest at Zhuhai Fishing Port, lucky citizens will have the opportunity to interact with him at a charity fan meeting.
