Clix Power physical keyboard for smartphones launches in Korea with Hangul keycaps

Dcase Store is bringing a Hangul-keycap version of the Clix Power Keyboard to South Korea in a limited run of 500 units.

The slide-out physical keyboard, made by Britain’s Clicks Technology, had previously been supplied worldwide only with English lettering. Dcase Store said it secured the Korean-specific design after consulting with the manufacturer.

The key layout combines English letters with the standard Korean two-set arrangement. The keys were designed to remain legible when the LED backlight is on.

A Dcase Store representative said Hangul lettering is a key factor in Korean consumers’ purchasing decisions for physical keyboards. Preorders will run through September 30. Genuine products bought through the official importer come with 12 months of free after-sales service, including local repairs or replacement of major components.
