Cluj Running Festival: Traffic and transport changes announced

Cluj-Napoca is set to host the annual Cluj Running Festival this Sunday, June 28. To ensure the smooth execution of the sporting event, city authorities have announced temporary traffic restrictions that will impact the routes of several public transport lines.

These modifications will be in effect on Sunday between 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM. The Cluj-Napoca Public Transport Company (CTP) has detailed the specific changes for affected bus lines, including lines 30, 27, 28, 28B, 44, and the M26 metropolitan line.

Several bus lines will see suspended stops and the addition of alternative ones. For instance, line 30 will have its usual stops suspended, including Uzinei Electrice, Calea Moților, Memorandumului Sud, and Victoria, with Dragalina Sud being added. Similar adjustments are in place for lines 27, 28, 28B, and 44, affecting stops like Piața 14 Iulie, Hotel Sport, and Parcul Central.

Additionally, tram services will be temporarily replaced by buses operating on line 101A. This replacement will also involve route and stop modifications, with trams suspended between Plopilor Sud and George Barițiu, and new stops added along Calea Mănăștur, Agronomia, Calea Moților, Memorandumului Sud, and Central.
