CNN Indonesia Mourns Loss of Video Specialist Yusup Saepudin

CNN Indonesia is expressing deep sorrow following the passing of Yusup Saepudin, a valued Video Specialist, on Tuesday evening. Saepudin, affectionately known as Yusup 'Memen,' was a key member of the digital administration team.

His sudden death occurred after he experienced an emergency situation while participating in a training session with his colleagues at the CNN Indonesia offices in Jakarta. Reports indicate that Saepudin collapsed mid-activity and lost consciousness. His body was later transported to his hometown in Cianjur, West Java, after a final tribute was held at the Transmedia office.

Colleagues and superiors remembered Saepudin with fondness and respect. Titin Rosmasari, Editor-in-Chief of CNN Indonesia, described him as a "very polite person, who didn't talk much, and didn't complain much." She also highlighted his dedication to work and his passion for sports. Yusup Saepudin, born in Cianjur in 1984, joined Transmedia in 2012 and became part of the CNN Indonesia digital team in 2015.

His long-serving colleagues emphasized his reliability, cooperative spirit, and high initiative. "For 14 years working together, he never spoke ill of others. He was willing to be paired with anyone. To me, he was one of the most creative," said Desi Ardiana, Production Manager at CNN Indonesia. Fauzan Mukrim, Coverage Coordinator, recalled Yusup as someone who brought "positive energy" and was never seen to be sad, consistently maintaining a positive emotional state.
