Coach Vassiljev after Flora's lackluster loss: We were a bit passive at the start

Reigning Estonian champions Flora suffered a disappointing 0-2 defeat against Andorra's Inter Escaldes in the first leg of their Conference League third qualifying round tie. The Tallinn-based club was clearly outplayed by their opponents, struggling to impose themselves throughout the match.

Head coach Konstantin Vassiljev admitted that the team started the game passively, allowing Inter Escaldes to take an early lead. Despite the unfavorable result and performance, Vassiljev expressed confidence in Flora's ability to turn the tie around in the second leg. He believes there is still a chance for them to advance in the competition.

Inter Escaldes demonstrated their dominance from the outset, launching a barrage of attacks in the opening minutes. By the 20-minute mark, the Andorran side had registered ten shots on goal, significantly outnumbering Flora's two attempts. This early pressure set the tone for the match and put Flora on the back foot.
