Cold Sunday morning expected under partly cloudy skies in Paraguay

Sunday will begin cold in Paraguay, with southern winds and partly cloudy skies. The Directorate of Meteorology expects less cloud cover than on the previous day and low rain chances across the country through Monday.

Temperatures across much of the country should range from 8 to 16°C in the morning and 16 to 23°C in the afternoon. In Asunción, the day will remain cool to cold, with a high of 18°C, a low of 10°C and southern winds.

The capital is expected to see its coldest morning of the week on Monday, when temperatures could fall to 7°C. The afternoon should reach 20°C under mostly clear skies. Temperatures will begin rising on Tuesday, reaching 27°C in the afternoon.

Wednesday is forecast to bring temperatures between 18°C and 29°C, more cloud, variable winds and scattered rain with occasional thunderstorms. Scattered rain is expected to continue Thursday, with temperatures ranging from 19°C to 27°C.

Ciudad del Este was reporting cloudy and cool conditions, with a temperature of 12.8°C and a wind-chill reading of 10.6°C. Its forecast highs are 18°C on Sunday, 21°C on Monday and 25°C on Tuesday.
