Colombian President Petro blames Netanyahu for Ceuta migrant crisis

Colombian President Gustavo Petro has leveled a strong accusation against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, blaming him for the recent migrant crisis in the Spanish city of Ceuta. Petro asserted that Netanyahu is responsible for paying individuals to undertake dangerous journeys to reach Spain, drawing a parallel with alleged Israeli actions in Palestine.

Petro, who is nearing the end of his term, also accused Netanyahu of financing a fraudulent campaign against him during Colombia's presidential election on June 21. He claimed this alleged interference was intended to silence him. Petro has consistently criticized Netanyahu's government over the war in Gaza, labeling the prime minister a "genocidaire."
