Comedian Hong Hyun-hee Denies Using Weight-Loss Drugs After Shedding 10kg

South Korean entertainer Hong Hyun-hee has directly refuted claims that she used weight-loss medication to achieve her recent 10-kilogram weight loss. The comedian is set to appear on the upcoming episode of MBC's 'Radio Star,' where she will address these suspicions and discuss her transformation.

During the 'Forget the Heat~ Let It Go' special episode, Hong will share details about her journey, including the period when she weighed the most and her subsequent efforts to shed pounds. She emphasized her "innocence" regarding the weight-loss drug allegations, asserting that her slimmer appearance is due to natural means.

The episode will also feature Hong reminiscing about the resurgence of her 2007 comedy sketch, 'The Red.' She noted that the clip has seen a surge in views recently, partly due to a mention by popular host Yoo Jae-suk. Hong revealed that the character's muse, known for its blunt honesty, was inspired by her own mother.

Additionally, Hong plans to share lighthearted stories about her son, Jun-beom, whom she affectionately calls a "little tiger director" for his demanding approach to role-playing. She also recounted an embarrassing moment when her son told his kindergarten teacher that her room was the "bathroom." The show will also touch upon behind-the-scenes stories from a parody video she filmed over a decade ago, highlighting her determination to seize opportunities despite potential risks.

Hong Hyun-hee, who debuted as a comedian in 2007, gained popularity through various comedy shows. She married designer Jason in 2018, and the couple has been featured on several reality programs.
