Comedian Jeong Seong-ho recovers after kidney stone surgery, wife describes pain as 'childbirth-level'

Comedian Jeong Seong-ho is recovering after undergoing surgery for kidney stones. His wife, Kyung Myung-geum, shared updates on his condition via Instagram, revealing the significant pain he experienced.

The stones really drive a person crazy, I'm so angry.

Kyung Myung-geum posted a video of Jeong Seong-ho giving a weak heart sign from his hospital bed, expressing her distress over the severity of his condition. She described the pain caused by the stones as maddening and shared photos of him looking unwell and swollen. She noted that he had been rushed to the hospital multiple times in the early mornings due to unbearable pain, requiring two CT scans.

It hurts so much that he's swollen, how painful and difficult and irritating it must be.

During the surgery, doctors discovered three stones, with one large stone completely blocking the ureter, making the procedure difficult. Kyung Myung-geum recounted that medical staff informed her the pain was comparable to that of childbirth. She expressed concern about the discomfort he endured as a tube was inserted for the surgery, followed by intense pain afterward.

Jeong Seong-ho received support from others who have experienced kidney stones. Kyung Myung-geum thanked those who had worried about him, sending back heart emojis and smiles. The couple, married since 2010, has three sons and two daughters. Kyung Myung-geum had previously shared news of Jeong Seong-ho being taken to the emergency room for kidney stones in late May, causing concern among fans.
