Comedian offers $23,000 reward to quit smoking

South Korean comedian Lee Sun-min has announced a dramatic pledge to quit smoking: he will pay 30 million won (approximately $23,000) to anyone who can provide video evidence of him smoking.

Lee made the bold declaration during a broadcast with popular YouTuber "Chimchakman." While discussing health and lifestyle habits, Lee announced his goal to quit smoking and maintain a weight below 90kg before turning 40. Chimchakman, a former smoker who has been smoke-free for four years, suggested a "bounty" system to help Lee stay committed.

Chimchakman shared his own success story, explaining how he offered 10 million won to anyone who caught him smoking, a strategy that motivated him to quit. He then proposed that Lee, given his public profile, should set the stakes at 30 million won, arguing that the desire not to give away money would be a powerful incentive.
