Community infrastructure will get priority under Oyebamiji — APC secretary

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, has promised to focus on community-based infrastructure development across the state's 332 wards if elected. This pledge came during the APC's campaign tour, where party officials emphasized the need for localized improvements.

The first thing that the government of Bola Oyebamiji under our party is going to do is we are going to have community intervention infrastructure across the wards in Osun.

APC National Secretary, Senator Basiru Ajibola, criticized the current administration for a perceived lack of value from federal allocations, pointing to significant increases in shared funds since President Bola Tinubu took office. He questioned where over N2 trillion in allocations had gone, stating that community infrastructure was lacking.

We won’t prioritize road over education, healthcare delivery, agriculture development, micro economy.

Oyebamiji assured residents of comprehensive development, stating that his government would not prioritize one sector over another, such as roads versus education or healthcare. He pledged to improve the state's business environment for all, regardless of affiliation. The election is scheduled for August 15, with the incumbent governor seeking re-election against multiple other parties, including the APC.
