Conflicting statements, Ratu Sofya to be sued

Indonesian actress Ratu Sofya faces a potential lawsuit from production company HAS Pictures for allegedly refusing to participate in promotional activities for her latest film, 'Dosa Penebusan Atau Pengampunan.' The company stated it has sent a Letter of Demand to the actress.

She gave the reason that there were intimate scenes in the film, so she was reluctant to follow the promotion series.

Reza Aditya, a representative for HAS Pictures, explained that Sofya cited intimate scenes in the film as her reason for declining promotional duties. However, Aditya asserted that the film's narrative is not solely focused on such scenes and carries its own philosophical depth. He also pointed out that Sofya had agreed to perform these scenes without a body double during filming.

Aditya highlighted a contradiction in Sofya's statements, noting her initial agreement to film intimate scenes without a body double. He stated she was comfortable throughout the entire production process, from auditions to filming. HAS Pictures is now awaiting a response from the actress before proceeding with legal action.
