Controversial 'looksmaxxing' influencer Clavicular draws mixed reactions in Tel Aviv

Israeli influencer Aaron Morali alerted staff at a Tel Aviv beach club on Saturday night after recognizing Braden Peters, better known as Clavicular. Morali knew Peters not only as a prominent "looksmaxxing" influencer but also for his past associations with antisemites, including appearing with white supremacist Nick Fuentes and singing Ye's "Heil Hitler."

Despite his close ties to an online ecosystem steeped in antisemitism, Clavicular has been warmly welcomed by some pro-Israel and Jewish influencers who have enthusiastically filmed content with him. Crowds of young Israelis have also gathered around him as he livestreams from beaches and nightclubs. This reception has reportedly bewildered many of Peters's own followers, whose comments on his livestreams have accused him of "selling out" and mocked his embrace of Israel.

Peters's visit has ignited debate about why he was admitted to Israel, given the country's recent history of denying entry to figures with antisemitic or anti-Israel records. The Diaspora Affairs Ministry declined to comment on his entry. The situation has also highlighted a rift within the pro-Israel influencer community. Some influencers have sought to leverage Clavicular's large audience for their own content, while others have condemned his presence and his objectification of Israeli women, criticizing fellow Jews for overlooking his past antisemitic activities.
