Copa Airlines extends special Venezuela flights until July 15

Copa Airlines announced an extension of its special flight operations between Panama City and Valencia, Venezuela, through July 15, 2026. This initiative provides a crucial alternative for passengers facing travel disruptions caused by persistent operational restrictions at other Venezuelan terminals.

The airline confirmed that these additional flights will run alongside its regular daily service to Valencia. The goal is to facilitate travel for passengers impacted by the ongoing limitations. Copa will continue operating extra flights, including CM603, CM605, CM447, and CM437, from Panama City to Valencia until at least mid-July.

However, flights to and from the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, the main international gateway for Caracas, remain suspended. This measure will stay in effect as operational conditions evolve. The continued suspension impacts a significant number of travelers seeking to enter or depart Venezuela.

Copa Airlines has outlined options for passengers whose itineraries are affected by these changes. Under specific conditions, travelers can rebook their flights for a different date, change the origin or destination, or receive a refund at no additional cost. These arrangements can be made through the airline's website, mobile app, call center, sales offices, airports, and travel agencies. The airline advises passengers to verify their flight status through official channels before heading to the airport.
