Coquimbo Unido and UC Learn Copa Libertadores Round of 16 Schedules

Coquimbo Unido and Universidad Católica now have their official schedules for the Copa Libertadores round of 16, as confirmed by CONMEBOL.

Coquimbo Unido, nicknamed the "pirates," will begin their tie as the visiting team against Platense at the Estadio "Ciudad de Vicente López." The first match is set for Wednesday, August 12, at 20:30 local time. The return leg will be played in Chile, at a stadium yet to be determined, on Wednesday, August 19, at 18:00 local time. Should Coquimbo Unido advance, they will face the winner of the match between Independiente Rivadavia and Fluminense.

Universidad Católica, also starting as visitors, will face Estudiantes de La Plata. Their first-leg match is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, at 20:30 local time at the Estadio Uno "Jorge Luis Hirschi" in La Plata. The second leg will take place a week later at the Claro Arena on Tuesday, August 18, at 21:30 local time. If UC progresses, they will meet the victor of the tie between Corinthians and Rosario Central, a team that includes Chilean player Vicente Pizarro.
