Cosculluela investigated for threats against a woman

Puerto Rican police are investigating the urban artist Cosculluela, whose real name is José Fernando Cosculluela Suárez, following a complaint of alleged intimidation against a woman. The complainant reported receiving an anonymous phone call in which she identified the singer's voice making threatening remarks towards her and her family.

This new case adds to Cosculluela's documented history of legal troubles. In 2025, Chilean authorities reportedly prevented him from entering the country due to his past. The previous year, in 2022, a specialized unit of the Department of Justice filed 15 charges against the artist for alleged domestic violence against his ex-partner, with incidents dating back to 2017.

Another notable incident involving Cosculluela occurred on May 12, 2024, when he was accused of hitting two horse riders and fleeing the scene, resulting in the deaths of both horses. Furthermore, on March 21, 2023, he pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges brought by his ex-wife and received a three-year probationary sentence.
