CPBL: Lin Yueh-ping becomes youngest manager to reach 400 career wins

Uni-President Lions manager Lin Yueh-ping achieved a significant career milestone on August 7, 2026, securing his 400th win as a coach in the Chinese Professional Baseball (CPBL) league. This victory places him in an elite group of managers in the league's history.

Lin now stands as the fourth coach to reach this benchmark, joining the ranks of notable figures like Hung Yi-chung, Hsu Sheng-ming, and Yeh Chun-chang. Notably, at 41 years old, Lin is the youngest manager to ever attain 400 career victories, highlighting his rapid ascent in the baseball world.

His career record now reads 400 wins, 381 losses, and 14 ties. The pitcher who secured Lin's 400th win was Brock Dykxhoorn, who also happens to be the pitcher with the most wins under Lin's management, contributing 54 victories. The second most winning pitcher for Lin is Kuan-Wei Chen, with 32 wins, who is now playing professionally in Japan.
