The Portuguese superstar entered the match as a substitute in the 62nd minute, replacing Abdullah Al Hamdan when his team already held a comfortable 3-0 lead.

Al Nassr had opened the scoring through Abdulelah Al Amri in the 18th minute, followed by a second goal from Angelo in first-half stoppage time. Joao Felix added the third in the 58th minute before Ronaldo sealed the comprehensive victory with his goal in the 83rd minute, assisted by Ayman Yahya.
