On Tuesday, the team will train at full intensity at the Episcopal High School fields in Alexandria. Coach Zlatko Dalić is reportedly planning tactical surprises for England's coach, Thomas Tuchel. Players Igor Matanović and Kristijan Jakić have publicly stated their expectations of facing a highly motivated and strong English side. Croatia will depart their Alexandria camp after the group stage, assuming they advance, and will adjust their base locations according to the host cities of subsequent rounds. The team is grouped with England, Panama, and Ghana.
