"Hezonja has proven with his performances over the last five seasons that he is truly one of the best players in the EuroLeague and as such deserves to be in the NBA," Mijatović commented. While Hezonja's absence, along with others like Ivica Zubac and Dario Matković, will be a challenge in future qualifying windows, Mijatović views it as a chance for other teammates to elevate their game and secure crucial points for World Cup qualification.
