Croatian Government Appoints, Dismisses Officials in Broad Reshuffle

The Croatian government has enacted a series of personnel changes, appointing and dismissing officials in various state bodies, coordinations, and councils. These decisions were made during a closed session of the government.

A significant shift occurred in the Central Coordination for the Supervision and Protection of the Rights and Interests of the Republic of Croatia at Sea, where Ivan Anušić was appointed as the new chairman, succeeding Davor Božinović. Several members of this coordination were also replaced.

Further changes were made within the expert body of the coordination, with new members appointed to represent various ministries and state bodies. Additionally, positions within the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute and the Management Board of the Dr. Josip Benčević General Hospital in Slavonski Brod saw changes.

The government also proposed new management board members for ACI (Adriatic Croatia International Club), Croatia's largest nautical tourism company, and HEP (Hrvatska elektroprivreda), the national power company. These appointments are intended to be interim, lasting up to six months until public tenders are completed. Similar interim appointments were proposed for the Agency for Support of Information Systems and Information Technologies (APIS IT).
